Demon Dog of Modern Noir to Unveil LAPD’s Dahlia Exhibit

James Ellroy, the so-called Demon Dog of American crime fact and fiction, will be hosting two events at the opening of the newest exhibition at the Los Angeles Police Musem.

This unique exhibition allows ticketed guests to become the first to view actual material from the LAPD files on this notorious murder, and converse with the controversial crime novelist.A limited number of tickets for March 16th, an evening of conversation with bestselling author James Ellroy are now available. James will take ticketed guests for a personal and conversational tour of the exhibition. Guests will receive refreshments and hors d’ouvres and receive an autographed copy of his best selling novel, The Black Dahlia.
The following day, March 17, 2012, Mr. Ellroy will host conversational tours with small groups of visitors through the new exhibition. Tours will last approximately 45 minutes and will be available at 10 am, noon and 2pm.
